Mazda appoints new president

Mazda Sales (Thailand) has announced the appointment of Hidesuke Takezue as the new company president. Takezue was former general manager of Mazda's ASEAN operations and was involved in the automaker's sales and marketing operations around the world.

He will replace outgoing MST president Choichi Yuki, who will be reassigned to Mazda's global sales and marketing operations.

Under Yuki's five-year leadership, the Mazda brand grew  significantly, witnessing sales of 230,000 vehicles. Yuki helped Mazda grow in terms of sales and steered the company through the automotive industry crisis before achieving all-time annuarecord sales of 74,000 vehicles.
